Effective 7 October 2026
This note covers tommydoes.xyz and our creator platform, which run on the same system. They are operated by Antiwork Productions Inc., operating as Tommy Does Everything, in British Columbia, Canada. Questions or requests go to info@antiwork.ca.
What we collect, and why
- If you join the waitlist: your email address, the page you signed up from, and the profile you came from, if any. We use it to tell you when creator profiles open. We do not sell it, share it or add it to a marketing list.
- If you send a message through a contact page: your name, email address and message, and the page you wrote from. It is kept privately and emailed to the person you wrote to, so they can reply to you.
- If you have an account: the email and password you sign in with (the password is stored scrambled, never as written), a cookie that keeps you signed in, and whatever you add to your profile. Your email is shown publicly only if you choose to add a public contact address.
- If you appear in a credit: this site records who worked on what, including people who have not joined. Those profiles hold your name, the projects you are credited on and your roles, taken from public sources such as on-screen credits, festival listings and published work. You can claim your profile, or ask us to correct it (see below).
- Photos:image files can carry camera details and the place a photo was taken. We keep them as they arrive, and never show a photo's location publicly.
- Visits: we count page views and measure how quickly pages load with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Neither uses cookies or follows you across other sites.
- Spam protection: when someone signs up or sends a message, the address of their connection is checked briefly to stop repeated attempts. It is not stored.
What stays in your browser
A few small settings are saved in your own browser and never sent to us: the email you last signed in with (so the sign-in form can fill it in), how far you have read in a comic, and whether you have already seen a tip on a project's timeline. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Embedded media
Some projects play or show media hosted elsewhere: YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode), Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud and Instagram. Those players load from their own services, which follow their own privacy policies.
Where your information is kept
Profiles, credits, photos, the waitlist and contact messages are stored on a server we run in Canada. The website is delivered by Vercel, whose servers may handle your request in the United States or elsewhere, and Cloudflare provides the connection between the two. Contact messages are emailed to us through Google, which hosts our email. These services act for us and do not use your information for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist addresses: until you are invited to join, or sooner if you ask.
- Contact messages: as long as the conversation needs them, or sooner if you ask.
- Accounts: until you close yours.
- Credits: as long as the project they describe is on the site, because a credit is a record of shared work. You can always ask for them to be corrected.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and use any other rights applicable law gives you, by writing to info@antiwork.ca. Your waitlist address, your messages and your account are removed whenever you ask. If you are named in a credit and have not joined, you can also claim that profile (see the claim terms). We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Age
The waitlist, accounts and claiming a profile are for people 13 and older. Paid accounts and content marked for adults, if and when either is offered, will be for people 18 and older.
Changes
If this note changes, the new version replaces this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell the people on the waitlist and account holders by email first.
